District Conference 2004 Wrap-Up - August 9 2004, UNI Campus, Cedar Falls IA
DC 2004 was a success
for all involved. Junior and senior high youth combined for a time of fellowship
and worship. Free-time activities included a game of ultimate frisbee, and
a healthy dose of hanging out. The benefit auction was a lot of fun, with one
member of the youth learning the value of multi-item auction items ($32 dollars
for two jars of violet jelly?!). The Saturday night worship service featured Ted and Lee,
which provided for more than enough entertainment, hilarious and throught-provoking.
After Ted and Lee, the youth served ice cream for the Ice Cream Social. For their
efforts, they raised $140 for Heifer Project International. Great work!
